This Week In Hercules Class
We have been continuing our learning about the Earth. We wrote about the Northern and Southern Hemisphere as well as the equator and gave examples of countries (e.g. in the Northern Hemisphere you would find USA, Canada and Croatia).
This week we watched the film of Journey to the Centre of the Earth and have started to think about the similarities and differences between the book and the film.
In maths we have started a new topic: right angles.
Right angles is really, really difficult - Doug
Right angles are hard and easy at the same time - Soph B
I liked doing our world cup chart because it combines football and responsibility and we have to remember to write our scores on the board - Will
I liked doing right angles because sometimes it's trickier than what we normally do - Isablle
I like maths because it gets harder every day - Stan
I like the world cup because sometimes we have checked the scores during school time - Embry
I like the earth topic because it is getting hard but fun as well - Harv
I enjoy right angles because it's getting harder - Jersey
I like doing the world cup because I like watching the football and filling in the scores - Louis
I didn't like PE because I've really hurt my hand - Martha
I liked watching Journey to the Centre of The Earth because it was exciting - Soph C
We will, as always, finish with a joke.
Two kids were wishing down a wishing down a wishing well and the boy made his wish. His sister fell down the well. The brother looked and said...
Great! It really works!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
